Immune Therapies International (ITI)

Effective February, 2001, Immune Therapies International (ITI) will be operating two clinics that will offer treatments for people with cancer. One is in Dunwoody, Georgia (Atlanta area) and the other is in Tucson, Arizona.  For information on their facilities, go to http://www.immunerecovery.com/facilities.htm or call them at 866-471-4743.

Their approach uses state-of the art medicine and diagnostic testing which will mobilize the body, mind, spirit, and emotions toward ongoing health.  Each participant's individualized treatment plan is developed by Dr. Jesse A. Stoff M.D. (H), Director of Integrative Medicine and his team of health professionals. All of the clinicians are trained and supervised by him.

Therapies that target the cancer tissue itself, such as radiation surgery and chemotherapy, may be life-prolonging, but do nothing to address the underlying abnormalities that allowed the disease to manifest.  Therefore, ITI's programs are directed at working with organs and systems of the body to improve their functioning.  This includes helping the body rid itself of the toxins that may have triggered and/or accelerated the cancer cells' growth.  The therapies ITI offer are fully individualized and as comprehensive as is necessary to address the multiple underlying dysfunctions.

They have helped patients with cancer, CFS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia (CFIDS), chronic Lyme's disease, Hepatitis C and autoimmune disease, such as Lupus (SLE) and Multiple Sclerosis (MS ), environmental illnesses, and other chronic illnesses.  The core medical model of ITI is the conviction that cancer and other chronic debilitating diseases are not "local" diseases affecting a particular part of the body, but "systemic " diseases involving the whole body.

Treatment programs at their clinics are individualized and based on sophisticated Immune Assessments - probing deeply into the components of the Immune System...T-Cell Subsets, B-Cell Subsets, cytokines, interferons, tumor necrosis factors, antibody fractions, natural killer cell function, TH1/TH2 and other indices of immune system integrity. Then they develop individualized patient programs to "fill in the holes"  in the immune milieu.  Immunotherapy is combined with other modalities resulting in programs that include traditional allopathic prescriptions and treatment, acupuncture, applied clinical immunology, customized nutritional IV's, Homeopathy, Metabolic analysis, lymphatic massage, Psychoneuroimmunology (mind/body), dietary modification, meditation, pyschotherapy, nutritional, chelation, and other infusion therapies, visualization exercises, group therapies, and culturally appropriate spiritual therapy. They will also employ consultations with local specialists (such as oncologists) when warranted.  In short, ITI's medical model is integrative medicine at its best.

They are an out-patient facility, but they have special rates set up at local hotels.  They encourage participants to bring their spouse, partner, family member, or friend to their treatment programs.

The information on this page is provided by The Cancer Cure Foundation based on information we have received from a variety of sources, including the clinic itself, feedback from people who have gone to the clinic, and in some cases from clinic tours. The listing of a doctor or clinic here does not signify an endorsement by the Cancer Cure Foundation, unless we have indicated it. We encourage you to check out each clinic by visiting the clinic if possible, talking to people who have gone to the clinic (ask the clinic for contact information of people who have gone to the clinic), and by checking with other organizations as to what they know about the clinic. There are also some forums you can join to get feedback from others. We would also be happy to tell you what we know about any of these clinics.

If you do go to any of these clinics for treatment, be sure to mention you heard about them through The Cancer Cure Foundation, and be sure to let us know about your experience, positive or negative. Any feedback you can offer may help others who are trying to decide which clinic to go to or which therapy to use.
